Health Insurance

Soon you'll be travelling abroad to come study with us. Don't forget to think about health insurance. We recommend that all students take out health insurance to protect against accidents or serious injury. Health insurance not only gives peace of mind should the unfortunate happen, but also ensures that studying with us is problem free.
Our Student Care Team can arrange health insurance for you. Eden College has partnered with a leading health insurance provider to give students the best rate and cover available.
Eden College recommends that health insurance be arranged before you come to Ireland but it can be organised once you arrive.
Students coming from an EU member state should bring a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) from their home country before coming to Ireland. Please see http://ec.europa.eu/employment_social/healthcard/index_en.htm and www.ehic.ie and click on the link 'Visitors to Ireland' for more information. This card will facilitate access to health care, which will be provided in accordance with the legislation of Ireland.
If you are already in Ireland, just call into the Student Care Team and it can be arranged immediately.
Please be aware that it is a requirement of the Department of Justice, Dublin that students have private medical insurance before a student visa can be granted.
The terms and conditions of health cover are available from our student care team.
