Homestay

Eden College can also arrange homestay accommodation.
Homestay accommodation allows a student to stay with an Irish family and experience what typical Irish life is like.
Homestay accommodation provides a high standard of accommodation in clean, comfortable homes with friendly, welcoming hosts. All homestay accommodation is within easy reach of the College.
Homestay accommodation gives an excellent opportunity to learn and practise your English with native speakers.
With homestay accommodation, students will receive the following:
- Your own private room, unless you have specifically asked to share with a friend or partner.
- A friendly welcome, with explanations of how to use things in the house and the best way to get to the College.
- Information about local shops, restaurants, pubs and other facilities in the area.
- Facilities to do your washing and ironing.
- A chair and desk or table for studying.
- A wardrobe for your clothes.
- Breakfast and evening meals every day (half- and full- board options available).
- A warm and comfortable home.
- Bathroom/washing facilities.
- The opportunity to watch TV or DVD's with your hosts.
