EEA Nationals and Switzerland
Students from the European Economic Area and Switzerland can work without restriction in Ireland.
Non-EEA Nationals
If you come from outside the European Economic Area you will normally be allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week during term time and full time during vacation periods. You should also note that in order to satisfy immigration requirements, you will have to show that you have sufficient funds to support yourself without needing to work in Ireland.
