Introduction

Cambridge, TOEFL and IELTS preparation courses are designed to prime students for passing whichever exam best suits their needs and wants. Integrating general English with specialised exam practice allows to students to develop their overall language ability whilst practising their exam techniques.

Mock exams, regular assessments in exam conditions and specific exam preparation materials are all used to provide students with the best possible.

Course Aims

Improve language skills across four key areas of writing, reading, speaking and listening
Improve pronunciation and fluency
Become aware of exam format, timing, question types and how to answer them
Analyse and practise past exam papers
Develop overall vocabulary and extend vocabulary specific to exam requirements

Course Content

Reading: developing reading skills such as skimming and scanning for exams

Writing: improving writing skills, reviewing spelling and punctuation, and answering exam questions

Speaking: discussions, conversations and exam speaking practice with teacher and other students

Listening: understanding spoken English in a variety of contexts and practising listening for gist as well as specific information in an exam context

Grammar: reviewing key points of grammar and extending along with vocabulary to improve phrasal verbs, collocations etc.
