Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Introduction

The BBA is a high demand degree which equips students with a broad-based business understanding and skill set valued by employers. BBA consists of leading edge subjects that have been developed by industry leaders and endorsed by an expert panel. The course will challenge you to develop and apply a broad range of skills in a progressive learning environment. You will develop a capacity for critical reasoning and analysis, synthesis of data and interpretation of findings, application of concepts, and identification and solving of problems. Practical and transferable skills include the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods, communication, teamwork, organisation and time management, numerical skills and the competent use of information technology.

Entry Requirements

BBA candidates must, at a minimum, possess  a Republic of Ireland Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Special consideration is given to applicants without the above qualification who have relevant work experience.
Overseas candidates must have completed High School or equivalent and have English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

The BBA consists of 18 subjects and two integrated projects. Students must complete all core subjects:

  • Information & Communication
  • People I
  • Operations I
  • Finance I
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Marketing Principles & Practice

Awarding Body

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is awarded by the Australian Institute of Business (AIB).

3 years

Study Mode

This course must be undertaken on a full–time basis.

Progress to Further Study

Successful completion of the BBA programme will give you an opportunity to apply for a Master’s programme.

TEACHER PROFILE
  • Sarah Tully
  • Sarah holds a B.A. in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of London and a CELT qualification form the Centre of English Studies Dublin.

    Her zeal for education and personal development is further evidenced through her work with playwriting and performance workshops and she recently worked on the design and delivery of the ‘Fighting Words’ project with internationally renowned author, Roddy Doyle.

    Sarah utilizes many aspects of her theatre background to deliver engaging and communicative rich lessons.
