Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Introduction
The MBA degree is internationally recognised and is seen as a passport to a successful managerial career. It is the world’s most popular postgraduate degree. The challenging MBA programme is designed to inspire and support you in the development of your business and managerial skills. It will enhance your awareness of the many different perspectives relating to the study and practice of management. The MBA will give you the knowledge, skills and detailed understanding that will enable you to develop as a bold, creative business leader and make a positive and valuable contribution to business performance in whatever roles you undertake.
Entry Requirements
MBA candidates must possess one of the following:
(i) a qualification deemed equivalent to an Australian Bachelor's degree, preferably with some professional practice; or
(ii) a qualification deemed equivalent to an Australian Advanced Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience; or
(iii) a minimum of 3 years managerial experience.
English Requirements
Where the applicant's medium of instruction (at a tertiary level) was not English, the applicant must have obtained:
(i) a score of 575 or better on the TOEFL; or
(ii) a score of 6.5 or better on the IELTS; or
(iii) a credit or better in English in the GCE "O" or "A" levels or equivalent; or
(iv) any other evidence of English proficiency acceptable to the AIB's Registrar.

The MBA consists of 11 modules and a Final Project. The core modules are:

• Strategic Finance

Aidan is the Director of Studies at Eden College. He has taught English in several countries including Korea and Spain before returning to Ireland where he has delivered English language training to groups of all different ages. He has lectured executives from some of Europe’s top businesses and universities and has been involved in the design and implementation of tailor made curricula for these courses. He has a BA in Arts (English and History) from UCC where he focused on the Irish Diaspora in America. His Postgraduate is a Masters in Applied Linguistics from Trinity College where he focused on Curriculum Design and Social Discourse. He has a CELT qualification and a Diploma in Journalism from the Irish Academy. Aidan is currently completing his DELTA qualification.
