Course Details
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global body for professional accountants. They aim to offer business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people of application, ability and ambition around the world who seek a rewarding career in accountancy, finance and management.
The ACCA is the world’s largest and most respected professional accountants association, with more than 370,000 students and members in 170 countries worldwide.
The Fundamentals Level course provided at Eden College, Dublin are:
- Knowledge Papers (F1-F3) – These papers introduce students to the core areas of financial and management accounting. They provide a platform for the student from which the other technical accountancy areas will be studied in the skill module.
- Skills Papers (F4-F5) – These contain subjects which cover the main technical areas that any accountant is expected to have mastered i.e. law and performance management.
TEACHER PROFILE

- Keira Hayes is an Academic Coordinator at Eden College, with responsibility for overseeing both the ACCA and City & Guilds Programmes. She is an experienced lecturer, delivering modules to Master’s level. She has a BA in Finance and an MA in Economics from the National University of Ireland. Keira enjoys globe-trotting and has travelled extensively in Asia and Australia.
